Cheeeeeeese! Yum.

Cheese, cheese, oh wonderful cheese. I now know how you are made. Now that I have the lowdown on cheese, I feel much better. Not really, but I thought I should say that. I know all about aged cheese now. I really would like to be a cheese master now. Seriously, that is like the emperor of cheese. How awesome would that be? I would want free cheese. I like cheese, but not nearly so much that I would want to know all the details. The basic idea is interesting though.

So, I'm pretty sure that I'm never ever going to eat salami again (not that I do now). They made it seem like all the nasty parts of the pig were tossed into the salami. Erlack. I wonder which is worse...Salami or hot dogs. I think they might both be uber nasty. But I still eat hot dogs. Maybe there is still hope.

I am very proud of the advancements that pigs have made throughout this novel. They are delicious and loved now. I feel happy for them. They aren't reviled any more. Although, it may be a bad thing that people like them so very much now. They are getting eaten. That is unfortunate for them. Sorry piggies.

Now we are done with Salt. It is bittersweet. While I wasn't a fan of reading it, I did enjoy the strange salt facts. I will forever look for people's salt shakers on their tables and be wary if they didn't set them out. Good bye salttt.

It would be awesome to be a cheese master, I could eat all that I want. I don't care what salami is made of; I still think it tastes amazing. I think most pige are loved by all, depending how they are prepared. I agree with you when it comes to being a fan of reading salt, but The facts were reallly interesting!

I too enjoyed the random facts about salt. It kept this book a little more interesting. I didn't mind salami before but now I can't eat hot dogs or salami. Now they could do anything to cheese and I still would eat it.

I didn't really think about how often pigs showed up in this book, but you're right, they made a total turnaround from their days in Egypt. And I had delicious, salty porkchops tonight. Yum!

Cheese is pretty awesome! I agree with you on not eating salami! It is already gross, but they made it worse.

No more salt...

I try not to think about meat when I eat. Hot dogs are really nasty if you think about it. For a long time I wouldn't eat them because of what was in them. I hope that doesn't happen to me and Salami. I love it because it tastes like peperoni. Yum! By the way Megan, if you are the emperor of cheese, I will take you down.

I would eat salami and hot dogs either way. It is kind of gross what they are made from but it taste amazing. I agree the facts from the book were neat and thought is was so much cooler because it was about salt. Also I agree cheese is pretty much amazing.

I've decided that I'm going to major in the culinary arts and become a cheese master.

Yeah, prior to reading this chapter, I wasn't sure how cheese was made either. Salt in cheese isn't something we tend to think about, but it is an important ingredient.

Again, you ramble:
"I feel much better. Not really, but I thought I should say that. I know all about aged cheese now. I really would like to be a cheese master now."

This has little or nothing to do with what you've learned in the book.

Salami & pepperoni are similar in that way. Both use parts of animals you don't even want to think about. As you mention hot dogs, it is sort of the same type of thing I guess.

Explain more in detail about the "advancements of pigs" instead you ramble about them for a paragraph?

ex.
"I am very proud of the advancements that pigs have made throughout this novel. They are delicious and loved now. I feel happy for them. They aren't reviled any more. Although, it may be a bad thing that people like them so very much now. They are getting eaten. That is unfortunate for them. Sorry piggies."

If I assign a book to be read, it is not important if you like it or not. (as proven by your love of English's "The Good Earth" ) You will need to get used to reading things that don't excite you if you plan on moving onto college. Not everything is designed for entertainment value.
